FREE THROW CHAMPIONSHIP

Saint Joseph/Ascension Knights of Columbus is sponsoring its Council Championship on Saturday January 27, 2024. 

• All boys and girls ages 9 to 14 are invited to participate in the Council Level competition. 

•  All participants will be recognized for their participation in the event. Each respective age division winner will proceed to the District Competition. 

•  All participants are required to provide proof of age (copy of birth cert.)and written parental consent. Age eligibility is determined by the age of the contestant as of January 1, 2024 .

Join us for St. Joseph and Ascension Council’s Fall 2023 Premier Fundraiser to help support the Council’s charitable works.  The $100 buy-in includes a buffet dinner of chicken francese, sausage & peppers, rice pilaf, and tossed salad, as well as soda, water coffee, and the tournament entry.

 2023 Scholarship Program

St. Joseph and Ascension Council No. 3814 will award $1,000 Scholarships to two current 8^th graders planning to attend a Catholic High School in the fall of 2023.  Eligible scholarship applicants must be registered with St. Joseph Parish in Oradell, NJ or Ascension Parish in New Milford, NJ.  Selection will be based on criteria focusing on service to the church, school, and community, and an essay on the value of the Knights of Columbus principles of Charity, Unity, Fraternity and Patriotism. 

Completed applications must be returned to St. Joseph Council and postmarked no later than Wednesday, May 31, 2023.   Winners will be announced in June.  Family and friends can attend the Award Ceremony at the Council Hall on Thursday, June 22 at 7:30PM.
